This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the basics of cardiology, focusing on the anatomical and histological structure of the heart and blood vessels, cardiac physiology and circulation, and the mechanisms regulating heart rate and blood pressure. The course also covers common cardiac disorders such as heart failure, coronary artery disease, hypertension, cardiac arrhythmias, and myocarditis, along with their pathogenesis, diagnostic investigations such as ECG and echocardiography, and basic principles of treatment, linking this to clinical application.
