Microbiology & Pathology of Musculoskeletal System (SMU)

This course provides an integrated study of the microbiology and pathology of the musculoskeletal system, focusing on the microbial agents causing infections in muscles, bones, and joints, their pathogenesis, and the associated histological and cellular pathological changes. The course also covers common musculoskeletal diseases such as osteomyelitis, septic arthritis, soft tissue infections, and musculoskeletal tumors, along with laboratory diagnostic methods, linking this to clinical application.
