Pathology of Neuroscience (NEU/CNS)

This course provides a comprehensive study of the pathological changes affecting the central and peripheral nervous systems, focusing on the pathogenic mechanisms of neurological diseases and their associated histological and cellular alterations, including vascular, degenerative, inflammatory, and neoplastic disorders. The course also covers common neurological diseases such as stroke, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, and nervous system tumors, linking this to clinical and diagnostic application.
